As promised, I wanted to show you the infinity scarf I just finished crocheting this evening. I wanted something similar to this, but you know, not $178….because let’s be honest here, why on EARTH would a scarf cost that much? Perhaps the sheep knit the scarf itself…I might purchase a $178 scarf if that were the case.
Anyway, to make my interpretation of this scarf, I used two skeins of worsted weight super saver yarn in Aran Fleck and a ginormous size P crochet hook. Pattern below the break:
Pattern:
Using two strands of yarn at once, chain 100. Join beginning of the chain with a slip stich, trying not to twist the chain. Chain 2.
Round 1: HDC in each st joining with sl st to chain 2. Chain 2.
Round 2-7: DC in each st joining with sl st to chain 2.
Round 8: HDC in each st joining with sl st to chain 2. Chain 2.
Finish off, weave in ends, and wear your cozy new chunky infinity scarf with thrifty pride!

Oh this looks so cozy! I love it. I could definitely see myself wrapping up in this on a winter day. Great job!
Thanks!
That looks awesomely cozy! Well done! (Maybe I need to just buy sweaters and start knitting myself cowls like that?)
Thanks! I love cozy sweaters and scarves in the winter. I wear them practically every day!
How cute! I haven’t crocheted in years but may have to take it up again for this. Thanks so much for following my blog.
Thanks! And you’re very welcome… I love the baby quilt you’re working on, it’s adorable!
